RIVSET® self-pierce riveting
In a one-step joining process, the rivet pierces the upper layer/s of material, flares and forms a button in the lower layer of material.
- Simple stationary screw driving system - For semi-automated workstations - Nozzle touches the surface of the component - Accurate screw fastening for position and height - Worker independent assembly - Control included
- PLC system which takes care of controlling and analysing of the feeding and screw driving components - Modular structure - Interface to external control system and bus-compatible - Visualising of the processes and controls optionally with a graphical touch panel
All Böllhoff screwdrivers are available with open interface drive. This enables the possibility to adapt eighter a pneumatic or electric drive. The robust pneumatic drive - With slip clutch is suitable for applications with changing material hardness - With shut-off clutch for high accuracy The modern electric Atlas Copco drive offers you the following advantages - Shortest cycle rate by maximum efficiency - Less noise than pneumatic tools - Clean air in the work environment - Accurate and controlled screw fastening - Process control
Special fastening elements are produced on fully automatic production and assembly plants: HELICOIL® SCREWLOCK® is the solution for highly loaded screw fastenings, with pullout protection. HELICOIL® nuts meet stringent requirements for corrosion, temperature loads, low thread friction and repeat screwability.
Special fastening elements are produced on fully automatic production and assembly plants: SEAL LOCK® lock nuts, the economic solution for reliable sealing of bolt-nut joints in the thread and under the head layers against gaseous and liquid media under high pressure. (Hydraulic systems, fuel systems and pneumatics).
How does clinching work?... In this joining process without fasteners, the materials are pressed together by a punch. A button is formed by the materials yielding and creating a mechanical interlock.
We supply RIVQUICK® blind rivets for fastening items that can be accessed from one side only. They are obtainable as multi-purpose blind rivets, and in a wide variety of special designs developed by ourselves, and also as standard DIN 7337 blind rivets. A wide variety of tool fittings completes the range.
A new family of systems for the automatic adjustment of production tolerances is supplied by Böllhoff under the name of FLEXITOL®. FLEXITOL® is used wherever production-related joining tolerances require adjustment. This prevents distortions or deformations during the assembly of components. This Böllhoff innovation is particularly useful in the automotive industry, in the construction industry, facade construction, the furniture industry and in the construction of rail vehicles.
To provide internal and external threads on components which are too thin for a tapped thread, we offer RIVKLE® blind rivet nuts and studs. To provide several product advantages there is RIVKLE® plus, the optimised blind rivet nuts. Blind rivet nuts and studs are installed ”blind”, i.e. without the need for access the reverse side, enabling them to be set into hollow sections.
Quick release systems have proved effective wherever claddings, maintenance hatches or covers have to be removed quickly and closed again securely. Böllhoff clamping, turning and pressure fasteners ensure effortless operation and maintenance and are your guarantee of low repair and assembly costs.
