Quick release fasteners QUICKLOC®
Böllhoff clamping, turning and pressure fasteners ensure effortless operation and maintenance and are your guarantee of low repair and assembly costs.
How does self-pierce riveting work ? In a one-step joining process, the rivet pierces the upper layer/s of material, flares and forms a button in the lower layer of material.
How does clinching work?... In this joining process without fasteners, the materials are pressed together by a punch. A button is formed by the materials yielding and creating a mechanical interlock.
We supply RIVQUICK® blind rivets for fastening items that can be accessed from one side only. They are obtainable as multi-purpose blind rivets, and in a wide variety of special designs developed by ourselves, and also as standard DIN 7337 blind rivets. A wide variety of tool fittings completes the range.
A new family of systems for the automatic adjustment of production tolerances is supplied by Böllhoff under the name of FLEXITOL®. FLEXITOL® is used wherever production-related joining tolerances require adjustment. This prevents distortions or deformations during the assembly of components. This Böllhoff innovation is particularly useful in the automotive industry, in the construction industry, facade construction, the furniture industry and in the construction of rail vehicles.
To provide internal and external threads on components which are too thin for a tapped thread, we offer RIVKLE® blind rivet nuts and studs. To provide several product advantages there is RIVKLE® plus, the optimised blind rivet nuts. Blind rivet nuts and studs are installed ”blind”, i.e. without the need for access the reverse side, enabling them to be set into hollow sections.
Threaded parts, locking elements and assembly parts of the highest precision which only few companies can supply and which always fulfil a specific purpose. For special customised designs we offer consultancy services with advice on product development, mould design, mould construction and product quality. Plastic offers the maximum design flexibility in terms of shape and colour and thus ensures greater added value for our customers.
Plastic screws, nuts and threaded parts. Highly wear resistant plastic-metal threaded parts are provided as an innovative fastening solution. Plastic components can be joined by self-locking with the self-tapping plastic screw UNITEC® plastic in plastic. In contrast to metal parts these precision moulded parts do not need to be separated during recycling.
SNAPLOC®, the simple, low-cost fastening method for components characterised by high quality design. They are rational to produce and easy to handle because of their secure fastening, they are easy to pull off and push on again. RIVKLE® Elastic, the fastening element for push-on /pull-off vibrating components
Threaded inserts and the related assembly systems for after-moulding technology are supplied under the name AMTEC®. These threaded inserts are designed specifically for insertion after removal of components from the mould. The result provides strong, wear-free, durable threads in high quality plastic components. The following methods are available for insertion: hot embedding, ultrasonic heat insertion, expansion anchoring or self-tapping.
For metals of low tensile strength we offer a outstanding solution for thread reinforcement: HELICOIL® plus and HELICOIL® Tangless threaded inserts provide high strength, wear-free, heat resistant, high-precision threads. These threaded inserts are also suitable for the repair of worn or damaged internal threads. We also offer installation equipment from manual to fully automatic insertion machines for mass production. KOBSERT® threaded bushes are suitable for the production of vibration-safe and torsion-firm mother threads in metals of small shearing strength < 300N/mm?. They are tailor-made especially for gas and liquid-tight joints.
