Total control with Kardex Sentinel

The Sentinel system uses the proven technology of the established vertical carousel range “Megamat”, and is designed for the storage and retrieval of all types of products including tooling, stationery, industrial and commercial consumables. Wherever there is a need to have total control over the issuing of fast moving, high value and mission critical stock then the features offered by Sentinel will come into their own. Physical control of stock is managed by a series of closing doors across the picking face, which ensure that only the correct operator can pick the correct stock item. Full integration with inventory software further ensures that all transactions have a full audit trail identifying exactly who used what component, at what time, and against which works order number.

The Megamat will help you to save space and to boost productivity

The Megamat is an automated computer controlled vertical carousel which can operate both as a central inventory store or as an online materials handling solution. The Megamat requires only a few square meters of floor space and makes full use of the available ceiling height with its compact and rugged design. The Goods to man principle of automated order picking saves operators countless time consuming trips to and from rows of static shelving bays or even worse mezzanine floors. The combined use of advanced control and software systems substantially reduces pick times and improves stock accuracy enormously.

Shuttle XPlus - Our new “whispering” storage giant

The Shuttle XPlus is the latest member in the Kardex family of vertical lift systems. Building on the success of the recently launched Shuttle XP, the XPlus takes Kardex into new application areas. Already referred to in the industry as “the whispering giant” the Shuttle XPlus introduces technology enabling up to 4 Shuttle XP units to be placed side, but only requiring upwards of one access opening. A new multi directional extractor system removes the need for access openings on each machine, as the XPlus extractor travels in the x,y and z axes.The Shuttle XPlus is a very exciting product for us as it takes Kardex into new application areas where we can help manufacturers and wholesalers introduce a very high level of automation, where previously it may have proved impractical.
