C51 Completely automatic tea bag packaging machine for heat-sealable single chamber round, square or rectangular filter bags without string and tag. IMA C51 machine represents the most advanced packaging machine, for the production and cartoning of heat-sealed filter bags, without string and tag, containing tea and herbs. IMA C51’s well known versatility allows the production of a wide range of square, rectangular and round bags, both in size and dose weight. The C51 offers a full range of final packaging solutions: - a highly flexible and versatile cartoning attachment that offers the possibility to choose among different carton styles. An exit conveyor for hand removal and hand cartoning or polythene bag packing. The exit conveyor can also be fitted with an automatic diversion system able to feed, into separate stacks, a number of pre-determined counts thereby simplifying the packing of polythene bags and cartons. Last but not least the C51 can also be connected to a flow-pack machine.

C27 Automatic tea bag packaging machine for non heat-sealable double chamber filter bags with knotted string, hard tag but without aluminium staple. Mindful of preserving the precious nature and qualities of tea, the C27 has been developed by IMA to respond to market demands for lower production but high quality machinery that maintains the traditional concept of flexibility combined with the highest product quality. The IMA C27 filter bag is based on a traditional non heat-sealable double chamber bag that guarantees optimum infusion efficiency enabling the natural tea aroma to flow out. Fixing is achieved by two simple knots, one to fix the cotton thread to the top of filter bag and the other to fix the cotton thread to the tag. No metal staple or additional packaging materials are required. This innovative feature avoids the presence of metallic material during infusion, whilst guaranteeing, at the same time, a discerning and functional filter bag. To comply with IMA’s traditional concept of versatility and flexibility, the C27 offers a wide range of filter bag sizes and packaging solutions to suit all product specifications.

A machine that allows the composition of lines, requiring minimum operator intervention and above all at reduced costs. The IMA C21 working method is simple and all operations are performed with the minimum of movements. This greatly influences the safety of production and consequently machine efficiency. The filter bag, outer envelope and carton size changeover, as well as the packaging style change, can be achieved quickly and at any time with the possibility of a wide range of sizes available; this creates a very important advantage which makes the IMA C21 a particularly versatile and flexible machine, and therefore easily suitable to various market demands.
