Hercules lifting columns are designed for handling drums, containers, Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs/Bins) and small machines like mills, pneumatic conveyors and calibrators. Hercules Mini 300, Midi and Maxima are available also in the mix version combining lifting and blending.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
- Simple design and accurate finishing for easy cleaning operations.
- High safety: lifting action given by a high resistance belt (more than 7 times the nominal load) for Hercules Mini and a high resistance chain (more than 6 times the nominal load) for Hercules Midi and Maxima. Both systems are connected to the lifting arm by means of the original safety braking system called “Self-Brake System” holding up the load in case of emergency.
- Different holding systems can be fitted on the lifting arm to hold IBCs, drums, special containers or other machines.

ROTO CUBE - HIGH SHEAR GRANULATOR DRYER The high shear granulator dryers of the Roto Cube series allow the entire process of any type of product, from loading of raw materials to discharge of dry granules, to be carried out in a single, contained bowl, thus eliminating contact between product, operator and environment. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Dust free production and reduced risk of cross contamination. - Maximized product yields. - Reduced manpower, space and energy requirements. - Lifting system of the bowl to optimize its height to the task: the machine can be lowered during maintenance and inspection and lifted up for a perfect alignment of the discharge valve to the IBC inlet valve, improving installation layout. - Tilting system of the bowl during the drying phase for a gentle treatment of granules and to shorten the drying time due to the increased surface available for heat exchange. - GA.ST system to accelerate over again the drying time by injecting an inert gas through the product mass to enhance evaporation, reducing drying time up to 50%. - Clean In Place system easy to validate. - Easy integration of the machine in plants where a maximum level of containment is required.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Slow product descent through the pipe to avoid powder de-mixing or tablets/capsules damage. - Disposable polyethylene liner to save time and costs in cleaning operations. - Separation of the areas to solve cross contamination problems in conjunction with the TwinValve.

TWINVALVE – HIGH CONTAINMENT VALVE TwinValve is a simple and reliable solution to handle powders, granules, tablets and capsules. It can be used as a standard butterfly valve on bins and can be easily retrofitted on existing Powder Handling Plants allowing containment during powder transfer and high flexibility. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Simple design based on the combination of two sanitary butterfly valves and a patented orbital rotating spray head fitted in a small hopper in between the two valves. - The volume chamber between the two valves can be washed or cleaned allowing the processing of a wide range of active products. - Possibility to clean the valve by compressed air, water/solvent, steam. - Occupational Exposure Band 5 (?1 µg/m3) achievable with compressed air cleaning.

CYCLOPS The Cyclops is a very flexible Bin tumbler designed for blending and homogenising powders and granulates. The machine rotates containers (bins) and is able to generate an efficient mixing effect thanks to the container being tilted by 15° as compared to the rotation axis. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - High productivity: the containers are hermetically closed so that different bins containing different products can be mixed in sequence on the same machine without the need for cleaning or decontaminating the tumbler. - Universal Bin blocking system “Trigon System” to completely block and blend a large series of Bins without additional devices and spacers. - In case of “difficult” product blending, the rotation axis of the Trigon System can be inclined also referring to a vertical plane to create a double inclination rotating system. - Possibility to install the machine “through the wall” to save space in the processing area. - Customised Bin holders available on request.

PH-DRUM The PH-Drum is designed for handling powders and granules for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industry. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Built in AISI 316 stainless steel with mirror polished internal parts. - Fitted with upper lid complete with clamp connection and gasket in food grade silicone for product containment during transport or stocking operations. - Lower bottom part with large radius corner to avoid product stagnation. As an option the PH-Drum can be supplied with handles, conical hopper with sanitary butterfly valve to discharge powders, granules, tablets and capsules, indication of weight (tare), numbering and pivoting wheels.

PH-BIN The PH-Bin is an IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) designed to handle and blend powders and granulates. The equipment is manufactured in compliance with the most restrictive GMP requirements and can be interfaced with the loading and unloading systems of the Vima “Pharma Handling Systems”. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Bin frame completely built in AISI 304 stainless steel and internal parts built in AISI 316 stainless steel, mirror polished. - The rectangular cross section, combined with the inclination of the upper part and the hopper, ensure perfect mixing efficiency. - The large bending radius without dead points, together with the round cross section of frame and legs, avoid water stagnation facilitating cleaning operations. T-Bins are also available to handle capsules and tablets. They have a cylindrical shape and the loading lid decentralized on the upper part to simplify product loading from a tablet press or a capsule filler.
