PS boards

PS boards are thermoplastic boards with smooth, prismatic or stamped patterns. Available in crystalline neutral or milky. The boards are widely used in safety glazing, including interior design of housing venues. When used as glazing material, they allow for considerable extreme energy saving thanks to their excellent k factor, which is significantly lower than glass in similar thickness ranges.

Their excellent technical properties, aesthetic look and extremely attractive prices make this material popular in diverse applications. PS boards are suitable for production of goods which require contact with foodstuffs. They are fully recyclable.

Fabrics for digital print

PVC-coated fabrics the surfaces of which are designed for digital print, available at a wide range of widths (up to 5 m), substances and surfaces: - Frontlit – an advertising medium designed to be lit from the front. It is the most versatile product of this range. - Backlit – an advertising medium designed to be back-lit. Designed for the manufacture of luminous advertisements. - Mesh – a mesh-like material which is lightweight and facilitates the free flow of air and penetration by light. The fabric ensures good visibility which is why it is primarily used as an advertising medium for building façades. - Blockout – a fabric with an insert which enables double-sided print.

LED highlights

The TU-LIGHT series modules are made of 5050 series LEDs embedded in hermetic silicone. The LEDs provide extremely high brightness, low power consumption and low heat emission. The TU-LIGHT modules in standard versions feature double-sided adhesive tape which allow easy application to surfaces without the use of any tools. The flexible wiring which connects the modules enable any configuration of the elements. The TU-LIGHT modules are offered in chains of 20 modules and any number of modules can be cut – also the chains can be connected in longer configurations. The TU-LIGHT RAX flexible bands made of 5050 series LEDs on a silicone-coated tape. This ensures reliable operation of the bands outdoors and indoors at exposure to increased moisture and water (kitchen rooms, bathrooms). The band chains can be cut which helps to optimally design and install the lighting. Our offer of modules and bands is complemented by indoor and outdoor power supply units. When selecting the power supply unit, remember that the total power of modules must not exceed 80% or the power supply unit rated power.

LED displays

LED displays are panels used to create dynamic visual advertisements – they certainly complement the product range for the advertising industry. The offer includes monochromatic, dual-colour and full-colour displays dedicated to indoor and outdoor applications. Types of LED displays: Communication displays – a perfect medium for text and graphic advertising. The standard offer includes mono-chromatic displays with red LEDs and dual-colour displays with red and green LEDs. Other colours are available: green, yellow and blue. Other options available on order. Full-colour displays (wall screens) – media for static or dynamic images with excellent display parameters: contrast, quality, brightness, resistance to atmospheric conditions and life. That makes them perfect for outdoor installation at public venues, sports venues and outdoor advertising. Tuplex offers indoor and outdoor wall screens from several to several hundred metres of surface area.

PET boards

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a thermoplastic, environmentally friendly polyester available in the form of transparent, white, milky or non-reflective boards. Also available in UV-stabilised versions. Types of polyester boards: VIVAK boards – made of a thermoplastic copolyester. Can be used for applications requiring contact with foodstuffs and are fully recyclable. Do not contain halides or cadmium and are perfectly combustible. Can be used at the thickness lower than other transparent materials. Remain transparent during heating. The VIVAK boards do not contain UV stabilisers. Use VIVAK UV boards for if long outdoor life is required. VIVAK DESIGN boards – a transparent material, double-sided matt and easy to heat-form. The surface of the board remains matt after extruding. AXPET boards – neutral thermoplastic PE boards. Can be used for applications requiring contact with foodstuffs and are fully recyclable. They do not have UV stabilisers, but they can be adapted for short-term outdoor use.

Foamed PVC boards

Rigid, white or colour PVC boards manufactured by free foaming extrusion. Their internal structure is regular with closed cells and they feature hard and smooth surfaces. The standard finish is matt, but there are also hardened surface versions, single and double-sided gloss. PMMA boards and blocks for LED highlighting

LEDs are currently the standard colour lighting source and increasingly used for shop window design, signboards and information boards, where they replace neons and fluorescent lamps. The new group of boards and blocks for LED highlighting are the products of Altuglas® LED System. These are white poured boards. Their unique formula guarantees maximum luminance and their optical properties, e.g. light scattering and opacity have been selected for a maximum visual effect and cost effectiveness – thanks to the use of fewer LEDs.

Standard and special PMMA boards

?The PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) boards are rigid and naturally transparent thermoplastic materials. They can be coloured to achieve a virtually unlimited colour gamut and light transmittance levels. The wide selection of boards, i.e. neutral, opalescent, white, colour translucent and transparent, with glossy or matt finish, offers a wide potential for applications which suits the diverse -needs of designers. The PMMA boards are extruded or poured, and each manufacturing process provides different technical parameters. Experience has shown that poured and extruded boards can be used interchangeably. However the final selection of the board type is made with respect to their intended use, technical requirements and costs. Tuplex also offers a variety of special boards: Extruded boards: - Elit boards – for edge highlighting of thin-walled light-boxes with the transmission and scattering of light coming through the board edges - HI (high-impact) boards – neutral boards with enhanced impact strength and excellent mechanical properties - UVD boards – transparent to UV rays and used in solaria - Gold and silver mirrors – light, shatter-proof, easy to work with, perfect for advertising and interior design - Prismatic boards – slightly patterned on one or both sides, used for glazing and in lighting features Poured boards: - LED-system boards – opalescent and light-scattering at LT=50%, used with colour LEDs.
