Founded from the need of marketing scraps generated by industrial dismantling, today the DEMONT Group, within a much broader context, collects metals of any type and shape, from the most diverse sources, to channel it processed and upgraded as a “furnace ready” product to remelting centres like steel plants, iron-foundries and other industries for transformation.

In addition to Italy, where the Company has consolidated and established itself, the Group trades with many European Countries, Countries within the Mediterranean area, Eastern Countries, China and other Far East Nations.

The metals treated are: stainless steel; nickel and its alloys; titanium and alloys; copper-nickel alloys; tungsten; cobalt, vanadium, chromium; super alloys; iron and alloys; aluminium and alloys; copper. An additional expansion of the activities has been generated by the establishment of the DEMONT Slovakia company and expansion in the Eastern European market.

Reutilisation

A meeting point between demand and supply of industrial technical materials and plants components generated either from stock phase outs as well as surpluses, DEMONT Group purchases equipments, plants and machineries and upgrades and re-appreciates them as compared to their scrapped value. The two contextual roles of purchaser and trader, handled through an e-commerce system (Enteo Srl), is completed through a series of pre and post sale additional services: gathering of documentation, assembling and disassembling, decontamination and cleaning, overhauls, repairs, certifications and logistic services. Some of the handled and treated materials are: stainless steel sheets and tubing; stainless and carbon steel valves and fittings and joints; heat exchangers and tanks; mixers, agglomerators, presses, etc.; centrifugal machines, filters, screens; crushing and grinding machines; pumps, compressors; thermal and purification plants; furnaces and dryers; power generating groups; electric motors and machines; machines and plants for specific purposes and uses; chemicals and raw materials. Expansion of the business activities to Slovakia and Eastern Europe represents a significant increase of the materials available and logistic and commercial capacities of the Group.
