Air freight

The fastest and most flexible way to move goods From designing a fully-managed international set-up for all air freight services to dedicated handling of late shipments, our fast and flexible air freight services can get cargo to the right place, at the right time and at competitive rates. We handle international shipments of over 60,000 tonnes annually using a range of different carriers through our extensive network of hubs. This operational scale means we can time shipments according to production schedules to improve inventory flow and still secure favourable rates for our customers. Our flexible service packages offer: • Cost-effective services - competitive rates and transit times. • Greater capacity - on main lanes even during peak seasons. • Shorter lead times - for improved inventory flow A range of service options Our air freight services fall into three categories: Priority • Priority goods are moved on the first available flight using our partners’ dedicated express services. For most major destinations, the maximum airport-to-airport transit time is two days. Standard • This service uses our partners’ airlines standard services - typically daily uplifts. For most major destinations, the maximum airport-to-airport transit time is four days. Economy • Our cost-effective economy service uses one or more consolidations per week depending on the origin. For most major destinations, this service adds two days to standard freight times.

Less-than-container load services (LCL)

Damco offers full service solutions to meet all ocean transportation needs. From single less-than-container load shipments to complete multimodal solutions, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with consistently high quality solutions, responsive service and competitive rates. Full flexibility Using our extensive global network and dedicated less-than-container load specialists in key markets, our services cover almost every origin and destination through 10,000 corridors worldwide. With regular departures and fixed container freight station closings, we ensure personal service and attention to detail from pick-up to destination delivery. Additional services include: •Documentation management •Customs clearance/brokerage services •Pick-up, delivery and distribution •Standard shipment visibility •Special handling Consolidate shipments and save time and money With our multi-country consolidation service, we can consolidate multiple less-than-container load shipments from different shippers and origins into one full-container load (FCL) shipment. This gives customers lower transit costs and fixed transit times using weekly sailings and smooth connections to the final destination. •All shipments arrive on the same day and in the same container •Faster access to goods as container yard boxes can be collected earlier than container freight station shipments •One customs entry •One container yard container for collection instead of several container freight station shipments •One terminal handling charge/documentation fee •Reduced trucking charges for full container load instead of multiple less-than-container loads
